Friday Venus Day
A Devotion to Pleasure and Beauty
Friday flows with the frequency of Venus—planet of love, harmony, pleasure, art, and magnetic abundance. This isn’t loud energy. It’s captivating. Receptive. Embodied. Venus doesn’t chase—she attracts. She remembers that beauty is a spell, that love is sacred energy, and that tending to the body and soul is an act of divine alignment.
Friday Venus Day is a sacred pause. A reminder that softness is strength. That slowing down doesn’t mean falling behind—it means making space for what actually nourishes you. This is the day to return to your senses. To romance your rituals. To find God in your gaze and magic in the way you touch your own skin. You are allowed to feel good. You are allowed to want more. Venus says: “More can be soft. More can be sacred.”
Colors that align with Venus include soft pink, emerald green, rose gold, cream, and lavender. These hues awaken your heart, soothe your nervous system, and call you back to presence. Wear them on your skin. Surround yourself with them in flowers, fabric, or flame. Let them infuse your space with grace and ease.
The number 6 dances with Venus energy—connection, balance, nurturing, and sensual beauty. Six asks: “How can you love more deeply, including yourself?” It holds the harmony of give and receive. Of care and creation. On Fridays, six becomes a portal for intimate alignment with all that makes life feel lush.
Herbs and flowers sacred to Venus include rose, damiana, ylang ylang, jasmine, and vanilla. Rose opens the heart and amplifies love energy. Damiana supports sensual flow and emotional intimacy. Ylang ylang calms and seduces. Jasmine enhances sacred union and intuitive connection. Vanilla wraps everything in warmth and comfort. These aren’t just scents—they’re frequencies. Use them in oils, baths, teas, or offerings to create an atmosphere of divine pleasure.
Crystals that carry Venus energy include rose quartz, emerald, malachite, pink opal, rhodonite, and green aventurine. Rose quartz opens the heart and soothes emotional wounds. Emerald calls in deep love and clarity. Malachite transforms and protects the heart. Pink opal helps soften grief and reconnect with tenderness. Rhodonite balances emotional energy in relationships. Green aventurine invites joy, confidence, and lush attraction. Carry them with you, rest them on your heart, or place them near your mirror to amplify loving reflection.
Friday also carries the energy of Oshun—Orisha of rivers, love, sensuality, and sweet abundance. She is the keeper of beauty, laughter, fertility, art, and the sacred flow of pleasure. Oshun teaches us that softness is strength, that joy is healing, and that pleasure is not a luxury—it is a divine right. Like Venus, Oshun draws blessings not through force, but through magnetism, grace, and radiance. On Fridays, I feel her presence in the way I move, the way I care for my body, the way I adorn my spirit. Honoring Oshun on this day can be as simple as offering her honey, dancing in front of your mirror, or speaking loving words to your reflection. She reminds us that the most powerful beauty is the kind that flows from within.
Friday is the perfect day for beauty rituals, romantic expression, self-pleasure, art, music, rest, or simply enjoying the body you live in. It’s a day to adorn yourself—not just for others, but because your existence deserves celebration. Venus energy is sensual, not performative. It’s a reclamation of joy as sacred practice.
If you’re ready to deepen your connection to softness, sensuality, and sacred self-love, this ritual will guide you into Venus frequency through beauty, embodiment, and pleasure. You may also sit with the image in this post before or during your ritual. Let it awaken your senses and remind you: pleasure is your birthright. And love begins with you.
Friday isn’t just Venus Day—it’s also my power day. I was born on a Friday, and I feel that energy pulse through everything I do. It’s the rhythm of beauty, devotion, softness, and sacred magnetism. On Fridays, my body remembers. My heart blooms louder. My rituals feel deeper. I honor this day as a return to myself—a weekly homecoming to the energy that birthed me. If you were also born on a Friday, you might feel it too. If not, your own birth day carries a frequency that wants to be witnessed, and I’ll be sharing more about that soon.
Venus Day Ritual
This ritual is for returning to your body, softening into presence, and honoring your relationship with love in all its forms. Use it in the morning to open your heart, before a date with yourself or someone else, or anytime you want to feel deeply connected to your own beauty.
-
Gather your materials. You’ll need a pink or green candle, a mirror, rose quartz or another Venus crystal, a scent or oil you love (like rose, jasmine, or vanilla), and a soft fabric or scarf. Flowers, soft music, or your favorite body oil or lotion.
-
Create a space of devotion. Set up a mirror where you can sit or stand in front of it comfortably. Light your candle. Lay your crystal beside the mirror. Place your scarf or fabric across your shoulders or lap—something that feels good to touch. Let your space become a sanctuary for beauty.
-
Breathe into your heart. Close your eyes. Place one hand over your heart, the other over your womb or belly. Inhale through your nose, exhale through your mouth—slowly, gently, three times. Feel your body soften. Feel your heart begin to bloom.
-
Anoint yourself. Dab your oil or scent at your pulse points—wrists, neck, chest. Do it slowly. With love. Whisper: I honor the sacred in my body. I open to softness. I remember my beauty. Let your hands move with intention.
-
Mirror meditation. Sit with yourself. Gaze into your own eyes. Breathe. Let the silence hold you. Then speak to yourself softly. Say what you need to hear. Say what you wish someone had told you. Say: I love you. I see you. I choose you.
-
Touch with reverence. Rub lotion or oil into your skin slowly—your hands, your arms, your face. Let it be a sacred act of care. Move slowly, breathing into each place you touch. You’re not fixing—you’re worshiping. You are the altar.
-
Anchor the frequency. Speak one affirmation that carries your Venus energy into the rest of your day. Some examples: I am a living prayer of beauty. My presence is magnetic. I receive love with ease. Let it be your spell.
-
Reflect in sweetness. Journal how your body felt before and after the ritual. Did any emotions rise? Any parts of your body speak louder? What does it mean for you to feel good? What are you inviting more of into your field?
This ritual can be as short or expansive as your day allows. Let it be intimate. Let it be real. Venus isn’t asking for perfection—she’s asking for presence.
